About Me

I am a Board-Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Herbalist who joined Integrative Neurology, Sleep & Acupuncture in October 2017. I received my B.S. and M.S. in Human Biology from SUNY-Oneonta and my M.S./B.S. in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from New York College of Health Professions. I also completed an internship in China where I furthered my knowledge in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

I was exposed to Eastern Medicine early in life and developed a keen interest in it as my mother frequently sought such therapy for various ailments with success. While trying to decide between going to medical school or acupuncture school, I witnessed my father suffering from pain and severe nausea while undergoing radiation and chemotherapy for cancer, and how he found relief with acupuncture. This solidified my decision to pursue a career in Eastern Medicine.

Having practiced Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine for nine years, I have honed my diagnostic and treatment skills in a wide range of conditions. I treat both adults and children. I have experience in the following areas: pain management, autoimmune disorders, infertility, postpartum and lactation support, insomnia, allergies, asthma, diabetes, GI disorders, stress/anxiety, cosmetic facial rejuvenation.

I currently live in Connecticut with my husband and two sons. I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors, traveling, cooking, gardening, and entertaining. I am fluent in Italian and conversational in Spanish.
